How do I get there?

Big Penny Social is part of the 'Blackhorse Beer Mile' in Walthamstow, E17. The Closest London Underground station (Blackhorse Road on the Victoria Line) is 7 Minutes walk away

What are the festival hours?

Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

No, all tickets must be purchased in advance through the website.

Will there be a cloakroom?

There will be a small cloakroom available at the festival. Please not this is limited and we recommend wearing a light jacket and bringing a small bag.

Will food & drinks be available

Yes, a variety of food vendors & bars will be available on site.

How does tasting work?

Your ticket includes tasting tokens that equate to approximately 600ml of wine (depending on how you spend them!) As you work your way around the festival, you will see different wine samples are worth different token amounts, all samples are 30ml.

Is there parking available?

There is no parking available at the venue. We strongly encourage the use of public transport. The nearest station is Blackhorse Road on the Victoria line. 

Babies & dogs?

We love babies and dogs as much as the next person, but with crowds and alcohol, we ask that you leave your little ones (and furry ones) at home!

Valid ID showing 18+ will be required.

Do I need to be a member of Winedrops to attend the festival?

To buy a ticket you do not need to be a member.

To access your tasting tokens your will be able to sign in using your Winedrops Free trial.

You then have access to the full Winedrops membership until the end of the month.

Once your trial is over you will be rolled onto the full Winedrops membership, if you do not want to become a paying member - simply email us to cancel! events@winedrops.co.uk

How does the £10 store credit work?

We will send you a code for a 1 month Winedrops free trial 1 week before the Festival.

You will then have £10 store credit to use at the event to purchase the wines you try on the day!

Can I buy wine at the event?

You will be able to purchase any wines you sample through the Winedrops App. For other vendors, you will be able to purchase directly on their website so no need to carry wine around with you all day!

Is Big Penny Social wheelchair friendly?
